BTG spent months developing the June storyline with Naomi and then in an episode-and-a-half had Naomi tell Smitty and Martin she’d found their kids’ mom, Smitty and Martin agree to tell the kids, the kids found out and met their mom. Why was so much potential juicy drama wrapped up with a neat little bow on top? Where was the conflict between Martin and his cousin over the fact that Naomi basically violated a closed adoption? Where was the conflict between Smitty and Martin? Where was the drama of Smitty and Martin telling the kids? Where was the conflict between the kids? Why didn’t Naomi get more blowback from all of them? Where was the juice? Where was the mess? The drama could have played out for weeks before the actual meeting.

Luna is awake and already lusting after Will and ready to make a mess of things on The Bold and the Beautiful.

Days of Our Lives has done a great job of giving viewers red herrings as to who EJ's actual shooter is. We find out next week!

General Hospital cast members and friends mourn the passing of GH icon Tristan Rogers. Drew punches Michael. Who is responsible for creating the Drew we see today? Is this the best character transformation on a soap opera in a recent memory? Should GH do a Who Shot Drew storyline reminiscent of Another World’s famous Who Shot Jake storyline?

Listen as Larry shares what he's been up to since leaving New York City and jumping the pond to the UK. He talks about surviving a heart attack followed a few years later by a bad case of COVID early in the pandemic.

 He reflects on how former Soap Opera Weekly Editor in Chief Mimi Torchin told him not to focus on being a soap journalist and to pursue his passion in music. Larry reveals the "secret sauce" of radio interviews and retells stories about interviews with Madonna, Adam Lambert and Leah Michele.

The two talk about how podcasting has evolved since Daytime Confidential premiered and the difference between video and audio podcasting mediums. Larry shares his first memories about the podcast and meeting Luke, Jamey, Jillian and Regan in person on The Morning Jolt.

Larry recounts how he started watching General Hospital and ABC soaps. He remembers the many eras of GH and weighs in on the current state of the show. The lens he watches GH through is different than a lot of soap fans. He gives his take on the character of Willow and remembers an encounter he had with Cameron Mathison on the street in NYC before he moved to the UK. He talks about the evolution of Carly Corinthos and remembers when Jackie Zeman debuted on GH.
