Days of Our Lives’ Bryan Dattilo drops by Daytime Confidential to visit
with Luke and Jamey about hosting ACME This Week on Saturday October
25, 2008 at 8pm.
Bryan talks about sneaking on stage with the General Hospital cast at this year’s Daytime Emmys and how he enjoys taking dares on the Salem set. We discuss what it was like for him to work with the James E. Reilly, who recently passed away. Dattilo shares his memories of the storylines that Reilly wrote for him and Louise Sorel and how Reilly provided the peak of Lucas’ character and story development during the Carrie/Austin/Sami/Lucas quadrangle. We talk about his current pairing with Nadia Bjorlin’s Chloe and how Nadia and Brandon Beemer are daytime’s Brad and Angelina. Bryan talks about his son Gabe, and how being a father has impacted his onscreen role as a father to his and Sami’s son Will. He shares how he coaches his son’s pee wee flag football team and how his son has picked up on his father’s hip hop roots. We ask Bryan about the rumor that Lucas’ days in Salem may be numbered and he tells us what he knows about the rumor. All this and much more on today’s show. General Hospital's Carolyn Hennesy drops by Daytime Confidential to visit with Luke and Jamey about role as Diane Miller.
During the entertaining discussion Carolyn talks about working with the Sopranos star Vincent Pastore, whether or not he might be returning and tells how she landed the role of Diane Miller. Hennesy reveals what it's like to work with Maurice Bernard, Steve Burton, Derk Cheetwood and Nancy Lee Grahn and answers Jamey's question about whether or not an L Word type storyline might be possible for Diane and Alexis. Carolyn shares how she was inspired to write the Pandora Gets series as an alternative to today's more racier book series and how her characters exemplify morals that children need to learn. |

What started out as an After the Show discussion turned into our first ever Fan Wars episode as Nicki and Melodie did battle with Jamey over Guiding Light's Harley, Cyrus, Marina, Jonathan and Tammy.
Listen as Nicki and Melodie argue that Cyrus should be with Marina and that Harley should never come back and Jamey argues needs Cyrus shouldn't be with Marina and that Harley needs to return asap. The discussion gets so hot Luke and Mike can barely weigh in. Even if you aren't a Guiding Light fan you'll want to tune in for this episode because if you enjoy this one we'll do more for other shows. |
